The Crusader Forge Custom Knives
I started making knives in 2021...several of my buddies make knives, and kept encouraging me to try it out. Turns out that I love it, and find the hands-on engagement of making blades very therapeutic. My neurologist also says that bladesmithing helps keep my mind healthy, focused, and sharp. I put a group of combat veterans together earlier this year that are new knife makers, with the goal to making elite custom knives and auction them next year at the Blade Show in June. I named our group of 10 veterans "Iron Sharpens Iron," and we will donate all of our proceeds to a nonprofit of choice that supports veterans and their families. My knives are tools used by soldiers, police officers, and hunters. They ain’t pretty but I guarantee the blade for life. All knives are hand made with AEB-L stainless steel or 80CRV2 steel. The standards for this steel are extremely high, and one of the best steels for edged weapons. Each knife is engraved with the American flag on one side and the Shield 91 emblem on the other. The "Bob Hunter," the "Mini-Bob," and the Six-Gun Dagger all feature my custom center pin, which represents the six barrels of the M134 Minigun. I make each sheath custom to fit the knife, and I place a piece of red felt inside to retain oil and keep the blade safe. There are no two that are alike, and each are made for horizontal carry to the left or right.
The Bob Fighter
Made from AEB-L stainless steel and named after our fallen brother and dear friend Bob Horrigan, this full-sized, durable combat knife is perfect either for horizontal carry or on the belt. It features Gravy's custom six-gun center pin on a variety of durable G10 grips, and carries engravings of the US flag and Shield 91 emblem. Comes with a custom-fit kydex sheath lined with red felt.
The BW
Made from the hardest 80CRV2 steel, the BW-Bubba Worrell is a compact, durable combat knife named for our fallen brother and dear friend MAJ Matt "Bubba" Worrrell. It features a wide, sturdy blade and a low profile, ideal for horizontal carry. This blade also features Gravy's custom six-gun center pin on durable G10 grips, and carries engravings of the US flag and Shield 91 emblem. Comes with a custom-fit kydex sheath lined with red felt.
The Gravy Gutter
This razor-sharp skinner is the perfect companion in the field or on the hunt. Made from AEB-L stainless steel, it features a wide, sturdy blade and a low profile, ideal for horizontal carry.
